A/C problem- codes
After fixing the a/c in my truck, the same day I went to take a ride in the vette only to find the a/c didn't work in it.I took it to the same local mechanic, who fixed my truck. He put in put in freon, and the compressor kicked on, and it seemed to be OK initially. I checked, before I brought it in, and there were no codes. After taking the car out, the a/c was ok, but after two stops to do errands the a/c didn't work. I brought it back, and the mechanic ran it again, and added about 1/2 lb. of freon, even though the first repair showed the proper pressure readings.I checked for codes again, and it gave me a B0361 H C code which indicates a left accuator feedback short to ground. Is this something I can repair, or is it time to take it to the dealer? The mechanic only charged me $53 for the total work. Chevy will be that much to say Hi to the service writer. Any suggestions?
