Default 97 C5 tweaking

a buddy and me got to talking at the track this weekend about further tweaks to his C5. at the moment, its got a Z06 air box, smoothe bellows, dynamaxx stainless headers, x-pipe, high flow cats, and corsa exhaust. been reflashed, too. also has a VB&P full suspension, DRM cooling ducts, Z06 air dam inserts (the holed ones for cooling), Wilwood H pads, RD engineering harness bar, and G force 6-points. neat little car, and im quite inpressed with what it already does on the road course.
so what were looking at is a twofold process.
1. replace the airbox, MAF, TB, and intake.
looking at these parts:
blackwing to replace the Z06 box

LSX intake from FAST

a 90MM throttle body

and we need a high flow MAF, but i cant seem to find one.
what do you all think of part selection? this car is used mostly on the track, but does get driven to work now and then, and ocassionally takes his wife places/tyrips in it. im concerned about killing the trhottle response and modulation on the car. i know on carbs, too big a carb will do that. will it do the same with a big throttle body?
any different parts that y'all would suggest, either due to performance or cost?

2. looking at some mild weight reduction. i remember the seats being extremely heavy, and we were talking about putting in some inexpensive manual sport seats, such as

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
or

dont know the weight reduction i would find with a seat swap, and weteher it would be worth it.

so y'all make some suggestions, both on parts and maybe ideas that i havent thought of for a dual purpose street/track car. and turbo's, blowers, nitrous, and sawzalls are prohibited per his order. i would also not like to go too deep past bolt ons, so im kicking heads and cam out of the question.
thanks
michael
