Default Installing triple gauge pod

I am installing a triple pillar pod and have a couple of questions. Do all the wires from the gauges run down and out of the bottom of the pillar pod?
Seems like after it is put on the cars pillar theres not much room to do this.
How do i get the vent cover off of the original pillar to put on the gauge pod?
When i attach the pillar pod with the little black pushpins will i be able to take them back out to install a different gauge or a light?

I have a double, but here goes. I ran all of the wires and such out the bottom, however I did not install the cover over the factory pillar cover. I drilled a few holes in the a-pillar and attached the new cover in place. The gauges push in from the front, so changing them later even if you could not get the X-mas trees out would not be a huge issue, but the X-mas trees should come out with a trim removal tool no problem.

I don't remember having any problems getting the vent off, but it was a while ago.

You're suppose to attach to stock pillar with push pins.

I drilled holes in my stock pillar for wires to run through.
