tranny noise? rearend noise ??

tranny noise? rearend noise ??
my 2000 frc is starting to make a bearing noise in 3,4,5th gear thats real loud around 50-65 mph just when you give it gas that tightens up the driveline..but when you left off and coast its quiet.. any ideas what to look for.??

my 2000 m6 makes the same noise....been to the stealership twice. They said no problem found??? My local mechanic says there is too much play in the rearend....worn ring and pinion. 2.5 K for new rearend. any advice?

There is a service bulletin for the intake on our cars.(Might have just been 2001 models) The noise gives off a whine when your are driving highway speeds and your rpms are between 1500-2000 RPM. I am not sure of the noise yours is making, but that could possibly be the problem.

my cars been making funny noises too when I put it in gear and give it a little gas its more noticeable at low rpms but it could just be my exhaust drowning it out at high rpms. I've found a lot of threads about this kind of problem with a million different explanations. Everything from adjusting the shifter to changing the clutch fluid or the clutch to the cores in the catalytic converters coming loose and rattling. I'm gonna try to adjust the shifter tomorrow maybe that'll do it.
