Default High Milage Ls1
Hello. I have a chance to buy a LS1 and 4L60E out of a 2000 Camaro at a good price. The only drawback is that the engine and trans have 101K miles on them. The engine runs smooth and the engine compartment looks very clean. Are there any issues with higher milage
LS1's that I should know about? Thanks for the help, Al.

Ls1's are very reliable engines if it was maintained and wasn't totally abused it should be a good engine.

104K miles on mine.
Fires instantly and no oil top up required on 5,000 mile drain intervals.
