Key won't turn & wheel does not lock!
My 2000, automatic is acting up again! The key does not turn at all and the wheel does not lock. Have tried to turn wheel in both directions while trying to turn the key, and nudge the gearshift while turning the key... NOTHING!
I hate to have it towed if is something minor. Anyone else ever have this happen? What is the fix?

Also might try cleaning the key with some alchol.

A few months back I stopped at a gas station to get some gas. When I got back in the car, the key wouldn't turn. I had to have it towed to the dealer. It ended up being something with a solenoid. Hope you get it figured out.
