Yes, It has both side and top posts. Very easy to install and fit good with the stock factory tie down to hold it in place.
Enjoy it, 100 times better than the delco crap.

They work great. When you order one, call Optima and tell them you need the rounded mounting puck for Chevrolet cars. Install it once you get this piece as it will make the battery more securely mounted. They will also send you a nice cover to place over the top of the battery and hide the top posts (not to mention it will protect against shorting!) Thank someone else for this tip (can't remember their name, but thanks from me too.)

Did it help with the dimming light problem? You know, got the head lights on then turn on the blinker and the headlights dim as the blinker illuminates, haha.
