Default Advice on Torque Converter Selection

As the title says, I'm considering swaping out the stock converter for one with a highier stall. I have a 97 A4 with 3.15 gears, borla stingers and a mild shot of nitrous, which is good for mid to low 12's at the track. Without the nitrous through the car seems sluggish, so I'm interested in correcting that, while at the same time maintaining a stock feel to the car under normal driving conditions. Can anyone recommend a good converter to achieve this? Also is it necessary to install a trans fluid cooler when upgrading to a highier stall converter?

Thanks

there's a lot of choices. Here's the selection I made:

10" approx 3500 'stall' will work fine.
Trans cooler is always a good idea.. especially in a warm climate.

FWIW, I have an 03 A4 and upgradng a 2:73 to a 3:42 with a 2800 stall converter.

I thought I read on this forum that the ideal "streetable" gears for an A4 was 3:42 and for a M6 was a 3:73.
