I installed the in-dash CD changer on Wednesday. It cranks pretty good but those cheesy Bose logos on the speakers rattle with every bass note.
Does anyone have a cure for the rattling Bose speaker logos? I know it's not exactly a difficult thing to fix but before I go in there and put epoxy on the back side of the grille, I thought maybe someone here thought of a simpler fix. Other than removing them, does anyone have any good ideas? I tried putting some superglue on the front between the logos and the speaker grille but it comes loose after a while. My next attempt would be to take the grille off and attack it with epoxy from the inside.
Wonder who thought of the brilliant idea of putting loosely attached metal logos on a metal speaker grille in the first place?

Stick a small piece of cardboard between the logo and the speaker grill. I've had one behind each logo for about 2 years now, and it stops the rattle.
There was a suggestion on the forum a while back to put a couple of drops of crazy glue on the back of the logo. It worked for me.
Epoxy sounds like a more robust solution, but it will be too viscous to easily get it behind the logo.
