I installed my new shifter(ordered from Gene)using Patches excellent writeup. Done in 1 1/2 hours and it works great. Good Mod, I appreciate the technical writeup from patches and the good service from Gene...the forum comes through again

I just installed mine last week with the same results! It definitely is a lot better than the original stock shifter as well as the Hurst I removed. Thanks to Gene, Patches, and the forum of course

I really want to do this mod but I want to test drive a C5 with it first. Guess I'm waiting for the next Block Head meet in Orange County!

I have them saved to do the same thing. This seems to have become quite the popular mod, I have the new shifter sitting on my desk at the moment. I will hopefully have the swap done sometime this week.

The C6 Z06 shifter is a great mod!!

Got mine from Gene also. His prices and service are excellent!! My brother and I have bought a lot of parts from him. Highly recommended.

Hi everyone...question .. is the C6 Z06 shifter better than the stock c6 shifter?? or are they the same??
