Getting a grinding sound coming from the right rear brake when slowing down to a stop, and if I ease my foot on the the brake and turn the wheel(while stopped) more grinding sounds...I visually checked my pads and rotors and everything looks OK....what could this be? Does this sound mean I need to change pads? The brakes still work and cause the front tires to screech, but they have felt better. also the grinding sound lessens after driving and braking hard for a while. I do have to pump the brake when braking at speed because the pedal slowly sinks down. I have no warning lights or messages....what could this be.
2nd problem... Im still getting a check engine light coming on(codes read (intake air pressure sensor reading high voltage) I changed the sensor and the light went away but has come back...could it be the car is starving for air from this humid hot weather? I do have a cam224/228/595/114 and lt headers though with a tune...I have the Z06 lid with K/N installed...do I need to get a better air box? It seems I have not had this problem in cool weather...
So anyone have this problem before as well? Please chime in

Could a wheel bearing. Does the grinding change when you are corning left or right. Usually on a bad right side wheel bearing, it will get louder when turning left because of the extra force from cornering and visa versa.
First thing you should do .... like NOW ... is check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir. When you say that:
I do have to pump the brake when braking at speed because the pedal slowly sinks down
That is a sign that you may have a fluid leak, and if the reservoir drops to where you pull air into the system you will have NO BRAKES. If no leak of fluid, you may have a problem with the master cylinder booster. Start the car and at a stop step on the brake pedal and keep an even force on it. Does it sink all the way to the floor ??? If so, you have a fluid leak. If the pedal sinks slowly, but stops before hitting the floor, then the power brake booster is leaking.
Check for any/all DTCs posted for the car. There is a chance there are Cxxxx codes set by the brake problem. Also, if your MIL (Check Engine) is on you'll have one or more Pxxxx codes that will help diagnose the reason for the light, it may be a new/different problem than the intake pressure sensor.

I will check everything you mentioned, I drove the car last night and the brakes were working good and less grinding sounds because most of the braking force went to the fronts. when I was just tootling around the hood the grinding came back and was much more pronounced and noisier. You cant hear it outside the car, but with the windows closed it is bad. It looks like I am going to do a complete brake overhall in the rear and check my wheel bearings too, that might be the cause....and the brake pedal slowly sinks down for as long as I can remember. I just got used to slightly pumping.(actually some times the car stops too soon and Ill ease off the pedal and push down again to stop. The brakes still work good, even with my hard driving... So you think that its not the pads and rotors? maybe the caliper?
And I just got bilsteins installed a few weeks ago...maybe the mechanic id something wrong? I didnt have any grinding sound a week ago though..
You ask .... So you think that its not the pads and rotors? maybe the caliper?
No ... I think you either have a fluid leak (could be the Master Cylinder, in a brake line, or a piston in the caliper) or a leak in the vacumn booster for the brake system.
You need to do as I asked. At a stop, step on the brake pedal ... does it go to the floor ?? If so you have a fluid leak (or a bad master cylinder piston seal) If it stops before hitting the floor your vacumn booster unit is bad.
Try that test first and it will help narrow down where the problem is. Also check for any DTCs ... especially any Cxxxx codes.
