Default Coilovers...how to install?

Ok, since I just may end up with some one of these days...just how hard is it to install them? Can it be done on the driveway, or is it way too much work? I hate the jobs you have to do 4 times because there are 4 corners!

I've installed them in the driveway, at EG's old domain back in CT, it's easier than swapping the shocks, the time involved is setting the correct preload/ride height

Default coilovers

Hi
When I got mine a couple of weeks ago the shocks were assembled and the preload was set and in the instructions it clearly says dont mess with the preload because they set the sag at the factory. And they say
only use that setting if you cant get ride height right. The install was easy but the removal of the springs a little tricky especialy the front.
when you remove the front driver side lower a arm and upper Important!
if there are any shimms make sure they go back exactly like they came off or you will have a problem. Dont let this scare you basic hand tools and basic knowlege of cars and you will do just fine Trust Me.......

Call DRM or LGM. You can do it yourself but I guarantee you that your alignment, ride height and setting will not be optimal. You need scales to properly do a set of coil-overs.

Default alignment

Hi
Yes after you set the ride height drive around for at least a week of hard driving befor you do a 4 wheel alignment and corner weighting
most important part of the job is to complete it right.............It take that long for it to all settle make sure you have a good shop do the alignment make sure he understands
corvettes that very important. I have a great place that realy understands Vettes
PM me if you interested only if your in the area.......
Paul...........
