I get a service ABS, service active handling, etc. message on the DIC. it happens frequently but is not constant. It will go on about a 2 miles from my drive way, or when I shift 2nd gear hard, then go off sometimes when the DIC is reset of car is mometarily shut off. There is no rhyme or reason.
I've cleared all codes, which indicate the problem is in the LF wheel or wiring to ABS unit(?). I've replaced the sensor/sender/wheel bearing and the 18" lead to the main wiring harness. All connections are tight. It seemed to solve the problem for about a week.
Can the pins get corroded? Is there a pin/connection "clearer" that will clean corrosion off pins and their female counterparts? Brakekleen? can the wiring harness be replaced all the way to the module in front of the engine?
