Default TCS: C1232 Code Given

So driving down the road I hit a pothole (no choice, in traffic ) and the annoying AH/TC/ABS warnings came up. I ran the diagnostic mode and got code TCS: C1232 HC. That shows up as the only current code...

Looking it up I see it is C1232 LF Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted. Funny, I just had my dealer replace my control arm, ball join, etc... a few weeks ago when they broke in that location. Anyways, I don't have my service manuals yet, they aren't going to be here till later this week. I tried doing a search, but the instructions I found were for the EBCM.

Can anyone give me some pointers on troubleshooting this issue?

Thanks
Anthony

OK, so I hate the fact that there is no haynes manual that has pictures of this stuff, I am not quite sure where the harnesses and wires are that were emailed to me.

Do I have to take off the tire to access it?

Why would you ever think a Haynes Manual would be any good? The factory manuals are 1400 pages. To check your sensor connection pull the left front wheel and you will see the connector behind the rotor in front of the knuckle. There is a sheet metal bracket that holds the connector and wire coming out of the wheel bearing.

My factory manual, which I ordered Thursday, has not arrived yet... a Haynes manual would provide a picture of what I am looking for. It is kinda hard to find something when you don't know what it is

Thanks for the info...

Aside from the your brake line, the only other lead that that goes to the backside of your front wheel is a sheathed two wire lead, about 16" long with a stiff, but flexible hard plastic or rubber coating. At each end is a plug. The end at the wheel plugs into a plastic connector held by a stainless steel clip. At the other end is another plastic connector that plugs into the wiring harness.
If you are working on the ground pull off the tire and wheel. The plugs are easy to release. No manual is needed.
If you have a continuous abs warning light you have no abs so watch it in the rain!
