Magnaflow X-Pipe FTW
Just wanted to post that my car sounded like crap with the stock h-pipe and cutouts. Motorboat idle, raspy wide open, and popped on decel. I am a firm believer in the all mighty x-pipe now. I went to my local muffler shop, and he had a used magnaflow x-pipe from a mustang. He said $150 installed so I said sure, what can it hurt. Worth a shot. Best exhaust investment I've made. Cleaned up the sound so much. No popping, no motorboat, no raspy sound at wide open throttle. It did raise the tone a bit to a more exotic sound but its not too high. It just sounds like a clean sounding race car with a great tone. Everyone I've shown it too loves it. This post is just for the people thinking about doing an x-pipe. ITS WORTH IT!
