There have been several great write-ups here lately on headers. Most seem to have narrowed down to: on a 346 cu. in. displacement engine LG pros seem to have a advantage 2200 - 4800 rpm; AFR and Kooks have an advantage on the upper end. Mid range (streetable torque) or upper range (drag racing dyno) is a choice that you kinda have to make.
My question is when you go to a 402 or to 454 cu.in. displacement the volumetric flow is alot different at the 2200 - 4800 rpm range. Will the LG Pro's stiill have any advantage or does the amount of flow start to "overwhlem" them and the torque numbers start to really even out. I know 402 or 427 is alot more motor than the 346, but I would really like to buy heeders only once.
