Just picked up my first C5...(99 FRC, only 14k miles).
Car is awesome! Love everything about it. Had to drive it 6 hours home. Now.....it seems to me when up above the 40 mph mark I hear either rear end or rear wheel bearing noise? Is this possible with such low mileage? Or is this road noise? runflat noise? Maybe just normal and I am panicing?Yea...thats it....I'm panicng right?
The run flats are rather noisy. After I put non-run flats on, the noise dramatically decreased. I wouldn't think there's enough miles yet for bad bearings. Congrats on your car!!!!

It's probably just road and runflat noise as Vetts have no sound dampening. Mine's a bit that way - not even close to being as quiet as my Acura. We did this thread a couple of weeks ago and it was very interesting.
If it turns out to be road noise, do a search on various threads about sound deadening, and the different kinds of materials you can use for this. Ensolite, dynamaxx, and even good old Frost King foam from Lowe's works for this. Check it out, and welcome to the forum.
