Default Instrument Cluster Question

I bought a cluster gauge package off fleabay, that is white and at night lights up with a beautiful color combination. My problem is that the directions starts with taking the 2 T-15 screws out from the cluster. I did this and found that there is no way to get the cluster out just by taking those 2 screws out. Does anyone know how to do this and can instruct me step by step? I am not very familiar with vettes since I recently got mine a few months ago. I would appreciate any help, Thanks in advance. I will post pics after I am thru.

What he said! I printed out the instructions after reading through it several times with pics on that site, then all I had to do was refer to it on the passenger seat if I needed it. You will have to drop the colunm a few inches, but no biggie. This not that difficult just follow the instructions and you should do fine.

Default estimated time

What would be a reasonable amount of time to expect to complete the entire job?

The car's mileage is stored in the cluster.......if you change the cluster, your mileage will not match the real on the car and possible legal issues to follow later on.

I think he is talking about guage faces.....That cover the black faces so no need to worry about mileage or the computer
