Folia-Tech. Any Good?
Thinking of using Folia Tech for my calipers. What's your experience with them and how are they holding up? Where's the best place to buy them.

I used it and was very happy with the results. The red paint is actually shinier and brighter than the red Z06 calipers. I've had mine painted for about 4 months or so and they look as shiny as the day I painted them. I bought mine from X-treme Motorsports, and they were like $40.00.

Agree.. After 6 months they look like the day I painted them (red). Very nice gloss finish.

Re: Folia-Tech. Any Good? (wwashing)
I used the Red folia-tec on my calipers about 4 months ago and they look great, lots of compliments.
Its easy to do, just jack up your car, take off your wheels and brush on. Its easier to do if you can lift vehicle & remove all 4 wheels at the same time and paint all 4 calipers together.
I used about 1/2 of the product supplied and I had enough for about 3 coats on each caliper.

Looks good unless you do any type of racing. They chip a lot if you get your brakes to hot. But will look good for 6mo untill they need re-painting

Wow. All of the photos looks good. There is a place here that sells them for $60 for the kit. I'm going to check around on the net.

Re: Folia-Tech. Any Good? (2001roadsterNBM)
No complaints with the product here, I bought mine through Nate for 40$. If memory serves the on-line selection was limited to fewer colors than the Folia-Tech packaging suggested were available. There were gold and silver selections that might be more appropriate to some but they might not be available through all distributors.
