Default AC Delco vs. GM part

Excuse my ignorance on this, but does anyone know the difference between a AC Delco part vs. a GM part. I am replacing my LF bearing assembly, AC Delco is about 45% cheaper than the GM dealer.
Thanks.

Delco and GM are one. Delco is the aftermarket supplier of GM parts, and sold in the retail market throughout country. That's why you will see both the Delco part number on the package as well as the GM part number.
Never go to a dealer for parts unless you: a.) Know someone there that will give you a discount, or B) Use one of three Corvetteforum supporting dealers, who will give you a good discount.
In this case I would recommend you check the prices on what you need at Auto Zone. The Timken (VERY old and VERY respected U.S. company) wheel bearing assemblies are much cheaper than even Delco.

Default Delco parts

I get Delco parts direct from the Delco wholesaler who sells the parts to the DEALERS. Look around wherever you are and make a few phone calls. You might be surprised how much you can save if you ASK for the WHOLESALE PRICE. The GM dealer wanted $135 each for GM Delco front brake rotors. I PAID $22.80 EACH at the Delco wholesaler. OVER 1000% savings and not crap from China either. Check it out. BIGHANK

P.S. Fill in your profile so someone can give you a reasonable answer.
