Hey all, I searched for "throttle sticks" but didn't come across a thread with similar indications to what I am seeing.
After some spirited driving through first and second gears, upon deceleration and even when throwing the car into neutral I'll notice the engine is maintaining a high rev for about 5 seconds, then will settle down. Throws ZERO codes.
Car is a 2001 MN6 with about 55K miles.
I'm taking the car to Orange County Corvette regardless, but would like to kinda know in my mind what is going on that could cause this.
Is this an indication I'm losing a belt? Pulley going bad?
It's an electronic throttle so I doubt it is the actual throttle that is sticking. Is the pedal getting caught on the carpet? I would check for vacuum leaks. Actually, I noticed I am not in the Z forum. I'm not sure what came with a cable throttle and what didn't. Even so, probably a vac leak....

I'm with you on this one. I'm thinking it's the carpet as well. take the carpet and see if it helps.
