Bilsteins will be cheapest alternative. I ran them for a while and they still hit the bump stops when I did the bushing/long bolt lowering. Ended up with Pfadts coilovers and am very happy with them, big improvements in every aspect and I was able to go even lower.
Bilstein Engineer told me that their Sport Shocks will only handle a 1" drop. Any more and they will bottom out.
I Caught Vette poster. how much did you lower your car with the PFADT's? My car is slammed and I want to go to coilovers and maintain my 1-3/4 + drop.
Thanks.

I am about 3" lower than stock, about an inch above the tires, just enough so they don't hit the fender over bumps(tire sidewall just barely sticks out my wide CCWs.)
