Default Vararam screen question

Having decided to insert a screen in front of my Vararam it occured to me that the backing plate was removed to create the air passage. So how do the screens I see in Ecklers or Mid America mount? I'd be interested in hearing what others who've put screens on their Vararams did. Don't feel like ordering $100 worth of screens and discovering there's no place to attach them. Thanks.

I bought the factory screens and used velcro to hold them in place. Works great with my Vararam.

Velcro so you can remove them easily for whatever reason later.

I used the 2" circular ones (black). 2 above the screen and 2 below the screen. 4 come in a box and you need 1 box for each side. Approx. $3.90 a box at Lowes.
I used a little alcohol to clean the areas where the Velcro is placed.

The screens I bought came with double sided tape already in place. I cleaned that off prior to installing the Velcro.

Velcro...I used strips...bout 2" x 4" got it at home depot....be sure to use a piece of paper between the screen and body so the velcro doesnt stick while putting the screen in ...then just slide the paper out and your good to go...
