Default Where Does This Braided Line Go?

I was messing around near the driver side manifold and saw this line unplugged. I can't find the other end as it seem to go somewhere in the bellhousing area. Any ideas? Thanks

With the nylon zip ties, it doesn't appear to be factory.....

And although I've never seen one, it's possible it's one of those speed bleeders for the clutch slave cylinder. (Is the car a 6-speed, or automatic?)

Anybody that knows, does that sound right?

It does look like a remote bleeder, lucky you !

Just zip tie it away from that exhaust manifold

It allows you to bleed the clutch slave cylinder without having to go up into the transmission tunnel to reach the OE location. Very convenient...

That is a remote clutch bleed line. It allows you to move the bleed screw for the clutch hydraulics up into the engine bay area. In the oem configuration you must remove the center section of your exhuast and the tunnel plate to access it.

You'll want to wrap that line with some fuel line to prevent the braided line from chafing on the parts around it. I almost had my car catch fire when my line rubbed through my fuel line on the firewall. Our fuel lines are composit and the braided stainless made quick work of it.

Mine is zip tied to my hood relase cable running under my cowl. I bleed my clutch once a year, between that I used the turkey baster method to suck the reservoir dry and refill.

Here's where I have mine routed - you can see it sticking out in the lower right part of this picture behind the brake fluid reservoir above the brake booster. I have the end covered w/ a vaccum cap.

It also tells me your car may have been modded and put back to stock. At least it has a new clutch put in as thats when most people add the bleed line.
