used Hypertech programmers
Referring to a mention of tuning licenses, in an ealier thread of Aug 21, I just called Hypertech. I was advised that if their "used" programmers read the correct VIN# of your target vehicle, you're good to go, with all functions of the programmer intact and available, as if the programmer were new. IE', I'm told that there is no diminution of it's intended purpose, due to any "prior user's" licensing restrictions.
It is essential, however, that the previous user of the unit reload this/her target vehicle with it's original factory settings (stored in the unit), thus restoring the Hypertech to it's original usefulness, for the new user.
