On a 98 C5 will they make the car sound louder/more powerful/better, is performance increase obvious, and how hard to install. Thanks, Skip :chevy

At WOT it will sound a lot different. Kind of a rapping sound typical of headers. My shorty's made a noticable power increase from 3000 rpm up.
I'm happy with them.

I would think any header with larger tubes over stock would produce a more aggressive sound.

 

they made my Z06 sound THROATIER....which is the only way to describe the sound difference.....

power increase is definetly there.....i had them installed and it took 2 guys 1.5 hours to do it .... but they had done many set of headers before :)
