I need a set of wheels, either for my street tires, or for autocross rubber in Super Stock for my 1999 FRC. Are the 2002 forged wheels worth going after? What would be a ball park price estimate for used? How do they compare weight-wise with other available aluminum wheels? I assume they are plenty strong enough.
After buying my low mileage FRC two months ago, I discovered when mounting new street rubber that the inside rims of both left wheels were dented; the rear badly enough that it won't fully balance. Anybody with an opinion or better yet experience?
I had thought of that, but I still need another set of wheels for some A compound rubber, or if they are better than the bent stock chromed ones, for street and the bent ones get the race rubber.
