Shipping a C5?
I asked over in General but no replies so I figure I would ask over here.
Who is the best enclosed shippers? Who is the most reasonably priced? Pros and Cons of shipping? Can most shippers be trusted? And how much would one expect to pay to ship a C5 from NC to TX?

I used Road Scholar to transport my 01 Vert from GA to NJ. Enclosed professional level trailer, car was wrapped and supposedly never left the trailer once loaded. Was around $1000. Had one small issue and it was resolved by the company. Overall I was happy.

I have used carriers in the past. Ask a lot of questions. Some sub the shipment out to other carriers and the person you speak to will never see the car. I used one that was an owner-operator and did a pretty good job. They do however take the cars on and off multiple times. The best success I have had is using a friend of mine who delivers cars on the side and he just takes one car at a time. Always delivers and picks them up without incident.

I recommend Horseless. They are not cheap though. Make sure you get on the top rack wherever you go. You will find that many companies "contract" out, so you have to be careful.
