OK, I need to hear from some of you that have seen this problem before:

The passenger-side headlight door motor seems to have a mind of it's own about whether to operate or not. Sometimes it works normally; other times it doesn't open at all. I've had the driver's side opening motor replaced once under warranty but it was not an intermittent failure and you could hear it making awful grinding noises when it ran. The passenger side door opener just silently refuses to operate (sometimes). It seems more like an electrical problem than mechanical. We have the Twilight Sentinel function on so the headlight door openers get a lot of work. I intend to take it in for warranty service but these intermittent problems never show themselves when you get to the dealership so I want some backup info on this problem to support my case with the service writer when I get there. Thanks

When the headlight doesn't come up, check for codes.
Heck, check for codes anyway. My guess is that you've got
an intermittant relay failure. Depending on the state of that
relay, you may get a code to confirm it, but you might want
to just change it anyway.
