How about "Dead Flowers" from the Rolling Stones album Sticky Fingers ????
Lyrics .....
Well, when you're sitting there
In your silk upholstered chair
Talking to some rich folks that you know
Well I hope you won't see me
In my ragged company
You know I could never be alone
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
Well, you're sitting back
In your pink Cadillac
Making bets on Kentucky Derby Day
I'll be in my basement room
With a needle and a spoon
And another girl can take my pain away
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the US mail
Say it with dead flowers at my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
No I won't forget to put roses on your grave
So much depends on taste ... but you really can't go wrong with CD's such as "Bat Out of Hell" by Meatloaf, or almost anything by AC/DC .. especially "Hells Bells" or "TNT"
Man am I giving away my age by these choices .....
Krokus is still around? They were big when I lived in Germany 20 years ago.
Oh yeah, they're still around, and better than ever, IMHO. My favorite album of theirs is "To Rock, or not to be". Another great Swiss band, is Sideburn, and of course, Gotthard.
I have been rockin' Machine Head's new album "The Blackening"...Awesome album if you like heavy stuff.
An oldie but a goodie that hasn't been mentioned is "I can't drive 55" by Sammy Hagar! Woo hoo!! I ALWAYS speed when I rock that tune & it's a good album through out!
Not yet, my kid's band signed a contract with Interscope Records but they haven't made it into the recording studio yet. They were on "Ghost Whisperer" and on "Army Wives" season finally. Proud dad don't you know.....
