Default Well now I have another strange problem

Just as I thought everything was fine with my 03 I got in this morning with a dead battery. (lights didnt shut off by themselves last night) put the charger on the battery and a few hours later started it up. The car ran great but when I let up on the clutch it would stall. Started it over and over, but each time I put it in gear and let up on the clutch it stalled. Went to work and came home a few hours later and car runs fine. Any ideas. This is real strange
Thanks Dino

Low voltage plays havoc with the C5's electronic systems. Anything can happen.

A dead battery makes it necessary to do an idle relearn. This can take about 5 minutes, during this time the car can run rough and even stall.

Why do you leave your headlights on? Doesn't it ding when you get out of the car?

Well you know it did but they always go off by themselves so I said what the hell, they will turn off (as I was walking in the house)

Even though they shut off by themselves, letting them shut off
leaves the battery slightly discharged. Then you start with a
slightly weakened battery, and weaken it some more, and this
is a cycle that shortens the life of the battery.

Since the C5 isn't kind to batteries to start with, I would recommend
against this behavior. Shut the lights off before you shut off the
engine.

And get yourself a new battery.
