I dont know about your case, but its like with mine It shoots back up its just not all the way. it totally feels like its a hydraulic issue...

The more HP you put to the rear wheels, the better/stronger a clutch you will need. If you have a stock car that is driven hard, your clutch will also stick once the hard miles pile up. Stock C5/ Z06 clutches are made to shift at 5900 to 6200 rpms. Anything over 6200...if you have a tune will indefinitely cause the springs to stretch and not retract fully.
I just had my motor rebuilt and with all the new power, I needed a new clutch. Due to cost issues, I had to go cheap on the clutch for the time being. My buddy had a brand new C5 Z06 clutch laying around his garage and he sold it to me for $300. We installed it and 1k miles and two bleeds later...the clutch is sticking to the floor.
Bleed it and it will come back again...possibly at the track or when your trying to show boat.
I should have bit the bullet and bought a Textralia!
I have replaced MANY clutches in my Corvettes.. Cartek, Excedy Twin, SPEC, Centerforce, and Ram.
I can tell with 10000% certainty that ALL of the high HP clutches have some sort of issue with them. They either rattle, chatter, howl, have a heavy pedal, are ON/OFF, etc etc.
Jason (Spiral04) is a street driver. I would be willing to bet, his car will NEVER see a race track, 4000+rpm clutch dumps, or anything else other than spirited driving. His car s a Beauty!!
And for the trade-offs, the LS7 clutch/flywheel offers the best all around "Street" feel that can handle 450rwhp.

I wish I would have read those threads before I spent the money on it.
Go with a racing clutch if you make over 400rwhp, or you...just like me, will be replacing clutches faster than you make the money to buy them!

Thanks Jeff! One day I might take it to a track just to see what it can do, but otherwise, no. It's a pleasurable street/show car, or so I think. I was able to flush the master cylinder out and the clutch is better. If I'm at full throttle, occasionally the clutch pedal may not come up to it's original position by about an inch, but within a second or so, it returns to its normal position. Under normal driving conditions, it has yet to do it. Now I have a little time to save for the clutch and gear change.
I hope your wrong! I knew that with the extra power I'd have to get a new clutch, I was just hoping a couple months or so down the line. Did you get a new clutch? If so, what kind?
I still have the stock clutch. It holds fine but after a high load/rpm shift, the pedal sticks for a moment and then comes back up. I don't race so the problem is annoying at the most.
