Default Seat Memory Problem

My seat memory isn't working correctly. Sometimes when I put my key in it will set it up to my settings sometimes not. Sometimes if I push the number 1 button it goes to my wifes settings which are number 2. I have the easy exit/entry switch on. Sometimes it goes all the way back some times about half way then stops and goes forward a couple of inches then back all the way. Or nothing at all. I have gotten back into the car where the seat has moved up to my position after I have left the car and it went all the way back. We have tried resetting all these setting again but nothing has seemed to help. Anyone else have these problems and what did you do to repair them? Thanks

Our car sometimes goes to the wrong setting. I just pull out the key and lock and then unlock the doors and then put the key back in and it goes to the settings for that key.

Your problem sounds different.

Check your grounds. When something is inconsistent like this sometimes it a poor ground. Check with Bill Curlee on this forum - he's really good with electrical problems.

Default Try this

I did the procedure described in the second post on this thread:

http://www.corvettemechanic.com/foru...ht=seat+memory

It worked great.

Note: a couple days later the seat and column stopped retracting - I checked the options menu and easy exit was toggled off

Turned it back on and everything is

Default i have the same problem

my seat memory has gone completely bizurk. Sometimes it retracts, other times I have to press it about 20 times. Other times it goes the wrong way.

I think I am going to send it to the dealer because I still have the extended warranty.
