Default engine knock

my 01 MN6 has a pretty good knock at WOT. I have borla catback and vararam intake. Any suggestions for fix

the engine knocks?? That ain't good, could be a broken piston, how is the oil pressure/ could be a rod bearing also. More details are needed

Mine did the same thing.
The Vararam leans out the engine.
Try higher octane gas
Try decabonizing the engine ( Seafoam or GM top engine cleaner)
Get a tune.

pinging and knocking are different sounds, hope that is all he needs.

pinging and/or knocking will still make your knock sensors pull timing.

Try a 20oz. bottle of CHEVRON Techron Concentrate Plus...Works for me

I have experienced the same thing in third above 5k at wot and in 4th above 4.5k wot, It is a little predetonation. I was thinking I needed the tune......at higher speeds it must be stuffing a little more air
maybe its just the cooler coastal air

My 01 did the same. Got a handheld tuner and tuned it for more fuel above 4K rpms.
