LS6 intake much help?
Would an LS6 intake help much with hp & torque with my mods being air intake, long tubes, off-road X-pipe, catback, 160 stat, and dyno tuned?
I have yet to get the tune which is coming at the end of the month.
If I get the intake later, will the car need another tune - best to get the LS6 intake before the tune?

Switching to the LS6 intake in addition to the above posts resolved my detonation issuses as I had a lot of oil accumulating in there with the old LS1. Once the knock issue was resolved then we were able to pull timing.
You will need a new coolant pipe for the LS6 too. Also it is a good time to pick up an oil catch can while you are there. Contact Chip at Custom Corvette Accessories for a good deal on a quality product. Chip is a forum sponsor.
