Not sure, but the c5 case is stronger so what's the point? Get a c5 z06 3.42 differential and a hardened driver's side shaft.

I just bought a 3.42 w/ hardened shaft from RPM along with a built transmission for a FANTASTIC price. You should call RPM on Tuesday.

Plus, with RPM they can install other gear sets.
I believe they do 3.15, 3.42, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10, but not totally sure if they do all those ratios. They do more than just 3.42 so you can choose the gear set right for your goals.

they are not
there were enough case alterations made with the C6 carrier to where they can't be inter-changed with the C5.

You might have better luck asking that in the regional section.

ECS New Jersey or just order a DTE they will swap with you and have a good local tranny shop do it
