Default suspension question

i currently have an 04 coupe with a stock suspension/sway bar set up. i am contimplating the idea of changing the sway bars to z06 sway bars but was wondering if i have to change the end links or if i should only change the end links. i do not take my car to the track so all i'm really after is to tighten up the ride a bit without adding a rough ride feel. i heard somewhere that the c6 base set up would work as well and are better then the c5 z06 set up, any thoughts.

you have metal endlinks with your 04 so there is no need to change them. Go with the C5 Z06 sway bars and you will notice a difference in body role.

You will eventually want to think of shocks. The base shocks are ok, but the C6Z or the 04 C5Z shocks will be better.

It's my understanding that standard end links on 04's are metal so you should only need to get the z sway bars. I put z bars on my coupe and it does make a nice change in reduced body roll, but its not insane like the T1 bars, and its much safer for the street. Get em, its a great mod and very easy install.

The C6 shocks are an option, but the rest of the suspension should be C5 pieces. The Z06 sway bars were my first suspension change, and made a huge handling difference.

You don't need the endlinks like stated above. I did a Z06 sway bar, poly bushing, and Bilstein sports on my coupe and the difference was NIGHT and DAY.

Check the numbers on your rear sway. My 04 came with the Z06 rear sway. It came with a suspension and handling package. The front sway is different though.

No. It looks like the suspension and handling package has the upgraded sway. The number on mine is 10424743. Sorry, it was worth a shot.
