With my luck. I had 2 diff sets fail on me in a year. Both times they failed was right before emissions testing. After the second failed set. I just sent my pcm for a mail order tune when charlie had the deal goin on for $100, had him do the tune and delete the rear o2 and no codes and passed emissions wihtout having to have to worry about the o2 sims.

Good luck actually getting some, EPA shut down the manfacaturer You really do not need them on an 04.I have an 04 Z16, LGM LT headers and no cats,B&B bullets. Occasionally would through codes and had them turned off with LS1 edit,Turned off COT feature.
It all depends what your going to do cats/no cats. some after market exhaust did not come with hole for rear o2 sensor,

If you want them out of the system, I bet you can find someone close by with LSxEDIT or HPTuners to remove the codes!
Heck, I'd do it for you but my HPT license only covers 2003 models (I guess I'm a little far too).

I am planning to get a set of AR headers with no cats to attach to my B&B cat back. Can't wait to hear that music! I'm sure the best bet will be to just have the rear O2 turned off when I get the Z tuned. Thanks for the input guys.
