Default lowereing question

lowered my 02 zo6 by maxing out the rear bolt and front leaf sitting on bushing.
now this might be a stupid question to some, but am i supposed to remove the front bolt and bushing to get it even lower in the front??
i know that i have to change the bolt in the rear to get lower, but i just wanted to know how to drop the front more.

new to this forum stuff, seems pretty cool, owned my zo6 for 1 month now and its awsome.

also looking at slp headers with corsa pace car exhaust next, your thoughts??

IMO I think you're crazy. I scrape getting into my driveway. Are you doing autocross or something?

im not putting it to the floor, just a everyday driver, the thing is that when i lowered the front, it doesn't really look like it came down, i just want to cover up some more wheel well space.

I removed the bolt completely from the front. If you don't want to go that low, pull the bolt, cut the bushing, and then reinstall the bolt. Good luck!

You can cut the rubber head of the bolt and reinstall it. That will lower the car a tad more. You can still raise the car back up if you don't like it.
Hear is a picture of brand new bolts (with the rubber heads) that came with my new Z06 springs for reference.
Use the LS1howto.com instructions for the "spring replacement" to drop your control arms so you can remove the bolts to cut them. (You don't remove the spring)

Cut 2/3 off the front bushings with a Sawzall.
Worked for me. Lowered 1-7/8 from stock.

Pull the wheels off and grab a tool. I split my bushings off of the bolts with a long screwdriver. Crude but it worked and believe it or not I never here any squeeks. My bushings were almost worn out after 60,000 miles. This may be hard to do on a new or low mile set.

You may want to drive the car a bit - it may settle somewhat after a few miles. Mine seems to after I have the front end jacked up.
