Default Headlight adjusting screw

I never realized that it was there....
What exactly does it do ( yes it adusts the headlight) ? narrow /widen the beam? move it up/down? left/right?

I am more familiar with the old style mutiple spring backed screws.

I'm going to be doing an HID conversion and may need to make some adjustments.
Thanks....

up /down
I think there is a left /right also

Uhh, in case you don't know,,,,,,,,,LUBE the S%*& oot of them before you start cranking on them.Work them slightly back and forth to break them loose good, and then make your adjustments.
They are known to be a little feeble, and if you break them, the fix is not cheap( well. let's just say you can't get just the adjustment screws by themselves)

Best bet is to pull out the whole light assembly and spray some PB Blaster is to the adjusters and let them soak overnight.

Just got done replacing one of the adjusters on my Bro's FRC it actually popped off of the ball in the side plate of the adjuster.
