Wiring Help
I am repairing my 98 vert. All the wiring and plugs are perfect except an orange and black -that look like a plug ripped off. I did a search on the forum and someone stated that they may be for the hood lamp. I followed the hood lamp wires down the hood -they are 2 black wires with a plug attached. Is it possible I am supposed to plug the 2 black wire plug into the 2 wire- orange and black wires???

The underhood lamp (2 BLACK wires) is connected to two wires at Connector 113 ... an ORANGE wire (hot) and a BLACK wire (ground). The ORANGE wire is powered off Fuse 2 (10 Amp) in the Instrument Panel Fuse Block. Connector part number in my manual is part #12162192
