I believe they come with semi- metallic but no way would I ever go back after using the ceramic pads I got at NAPA. There are other brands of ceramic from Delco and Autozone. After the break in you will have no noise and no visable dust compared to the semi metallic. I felt no change in performance but, I would only use metallic if you do heavy weekend racing with multiple high speed stops.
Morse are not suitable for high performance driving. They will fail quickly when subjected to the track. I destroyed a brand new set in a 1/2 hour at the Glen!
