Hello all. I just thought I'd post a quick note of introduction. Some of you probably already know me from the years I've been on LS1.com where I have some 3800 posts, but for those of you who don't:
I had a 1999 Camaro SS which I purchased new and which I highly modified (cam, high stall torque converter, headers, etc, etc). I recently sold the SS and am now the proud owner of a 2000 Millennium Yellow Corvette Convertible. My wife and I both love it (So does my 17 year old daughter!) and we're looking forward to creating a lot of great memories with it.
I'm a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and ten years ago (11 in April) I retired from the NJSP. We're now living in the mountains of Northeastern PA (it's too damn cold here in the winter) and our long term goal is to move to the Southwest, probably somewhere in the northwest corner of Arizona.
Welcome aboard! I moved over from LS1.com in September when I went from my 98Z(DoubleNick) to my very first Vette. I also served in Viet Nam as well as all over the world and retired from the Army/ Military Police Corps, too many years ago(15)! I enjoyed your insights on LS1.com and look forward to hearing from you often on the Forum. All vets should drive Vettes! Never forget our comrades. Nick

Re: Greetings! (XTrooper)
Greetings and welcome. You might also want to consider The Republic of Texas in your "warmer climate" plans. The hill country around Austin/San Marcos/San Antonio area is definitely devoid of the white stuff in the winter and there are lots of lakes and rivers too. Besides, Texas has one helluva lotta Vette lovers! (R.A.T. lives in DFW) :D :D
Welcome aboard. AZ is great all year round come on down and forget all about the ice, snow and storing the car, here you can use it all year long.
