Having had my rear axle seals replaced four (4) times in the past year, I had my dealer add dye a couple of weeks ago to try and see if maybe it was a porous differential case.
They pulled the thing out of the car on Wednesday (after having replaced the synchros in my MN6 and adding a 2002 Z06 clutch on Monday and Tuesday), and determined yesterday that it is in fact three (3) INTERNAL seals that were causing the leaks. Because they ordered the parts from GMs Lansing, MI parts center after 11 am, parts won't be there till Monday morning, so I'm without the car for the weekend, after being without all week :mad
Oh well. Hopefully this will finally end the rear-end leaking issue. I will keep everyone posted to let you know if this actualy works
