hopefully someone will jump in with a pic...the k harness will be under the knee bolster area. you'll need to take the knee bolster off...

Youve got to remove the lower dash under the steering wheel. There you should find a harness plugged into your column lock. Unplug the harness and just plug original plug back into column lock. If your column lock is good the car should run. Your problem is more than likely the relay took a dump, which if it was dealer installed they should take care of it for free.........

You can do that or get one from COH (Corvettes of Houston) or you can take the one out you have now and take it back to GM with your work order and have them give you a new K-Harness. I live in California And they upgraded the relay. I had mine installed over 3000 miles ago and have not had a problem. But mine is also an A-4 seems to be less problems with the automatics..........

i got under the steering column and didnt find the recall harness, but what i did find was better. i found the after market vetts of houston adapter plug. it was unplugged and the car was hooked to the factory column lock senser. i plugged the after market unit back in and the car works great! i think the idiots at gm put the wires back to stock when it was there last. they prob also reprogramed my computer back to stock (they reprogram these after they deal with the column lock, right?) At least its not going back to the stealership tomarrow. Thanks alot guys!!

yea if you would of known the COH was in there you could of saved a trip to the dealer. Look at the bright side, at least the lock plate is gone now, or at least it should be........
