Can someone post the Z06 camber specs as well as the Stock Coupe camber specs?
If you changed yours to something to something other than stock, I'd be interested in hearing about that too. Want to learn more about Camber settings.
Alignment settings:
-Front------------------------------------
LF -1.5 deg camber RF -1.5 deg camber
LF 6-7 deg caster RF 6-7 deg caster
Front toe setting 0 or 1/16 inch toe in
You can set the front camber in the range of -1.5 to -2.0.
The -2.0 setting might be better for you.
-Rear-------------------------------------
Camber settings LR -1.0 RR -1.0
Toe setting LR 1/16 toe in RR 1/16 toe in
Make sure you run toe in. You can run a little less toe than this if you want.
I just aligned my car this morning here are the settings, let me know what you guys think ;) I had told the guy that I wanted it to handle better and he said no problem ;) he aligned it with me sitting in the car
Front
Left Caster +6.28
Right Caster +6.96
Left Camber -1.48
Right Camber -1.32
Left Toe +1/32
Right Toe +1/32
Rear
Left Camber -0.96
Right Camber -1.04
Left Toe +1/32
Right Toe +1/32
The toe out in the front is a common autocross approach which will provide a very crisp turn in at the expense of some inner tire wear. The car may also "hunt" a bit over rutted road surfaces.
As for the back, generally, If you've really dialed in _positive_ toe in the rear, you're in for a wild ride...that type of setting will be very difficult to drive at the limit. I guess the good news is it's only 1/32 a side.
Yellow/Godspeed:
Your specs Yellow & Godspeed's DRM's are just personal preferences, eh? DRM's are different from the Z06 recc's, eh?
Anyone have 2000 Coupe stock specs?
Also, anyone want to define the affects/advantages of caster vs. camber vs. toe? More camber means better cornering grip? Really need stock coupe camber specs to compare...
Well after a days driving all I can say is WOW :D I thought the stock alignment was good, I can throw her into a corner and mash the peddle at the same time and she doesn't even squeek, just stick's like glue and goes :p: I love it, would never go back, NEVER :)
