Default Wheel Offset Help!!

I have a 1999 C5 FRC which I'm ready to buy wheels for. My questions are as follows: What is the offset range?, How low of an offset can I go in the front before they stick out and start to look ugly?. I found some wheels I really like but they're offset is 25. How will this look? How many inches off will I be? Is it workable? I'm getting L5 fender flares in the rear so I'm mostly concerned about the front. Thanks.

Your stock wheels are +54, +45 stick out too much for my liking (search for Ruff Wheels and look at some pictures)

Are you saying that the stock offset sits out too much for you, or aftermarket rims with that offset?

The aftermarket at +45 sticks out too much for me, so +25 would be even worse.

I found many rims for sale that advertise that BMW rims will work, but their offset is around +15-18. I know that won't work by what your telling me. However, I found another set I really like but their offset is +35 and they're for the Corvette. If I use the right width tires, they may not look so bad. So, I need to know exactly how much it will stick out in inches. Anyone know or can provide a pic? Thanks.
