Best street suspension?
My car is a 99 c5 vert. I am running sts with 480+ hp and 450+ torque at the wheels.
I bought this car lowered and the suspension is very uncomfortable. Spacers in front have been cut in half and front and rear have been lowered considerably.
When going over pronounced bumps the ride is very jolting. Going over dips produces a pogoing affect in the rear.
The car does seem to handle ok but I would like some improvement.
I would like to know the best street suspension to buy for my money.
I will not be tracking the car. I do drive aggressively. I do like the look of the car lowered but not at the expense of very poor ride.
I do not mind a stiff ride but mine is ridiculous.
What components do I need to find the best of handling and ride comfort?
thanks
Her are two:
1. Pfadts coilover system
2. Koni FSD shocks and Hypercoil leaf springs (street-front, race-rear).
The Pfadts are currently about $200.00 more than the Koni/Hypercoil package. Each has its positives and negatives but for the street only car it will all come down to personal preference.
