the C6 cats are really close to the manifolds on the OE setup, this allows copius amounts of room where the header pipes route, I do NOT have experience installing C6 headers on a C5, but would speculate they won't fit
fwiw, the C6 AR headers are about a 10 second install each side, installed a few in the past year
