Throw a brick through the window, and tell your insurance it was vandalism.

Yep - make the "hook" part of the hanger grab the manual lock on the door - or make it press the unlock button on the door..

START ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW, IT SHOULD BE REAL EASY TO PULL

Couldnt you call GM Roadside Assistance for something like this? I thought you could use their service just like any automobile association membership, ie. run out of gas, locked keys in, engine trouble, etc.

They could probably jimmy in your car easier than someone that hasnt done it a buncha times.

Just call OnStar and have them unlock it remotely!

Oh wait, the C5 hasn't been deemed worthy of OnStar yet. Oh well.....

:cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss How to break in a $50K car with a $.50 hanger.... I'm gonna go to the car now and take out all the expensive things I have in it now.

PS. A note to the GM..... could you do us a favor and make out cars a bit more theft deterant. :( I think it's easy to break into a Vette then into a Cavaliar

Any one who wants to take some thing out of your car is not going to use a coat hanger...Yes,you can break the glass on the Vette, the same as a Cavalier...Driving off would be a different matter...
